Ingredients to make Murukku

  • rice 4 cups
  • urad dal 1 cup
  • asafoetida 1 tsp
  • ghee 4 tsp
  • black sesame seed 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil to fry

How to make Murukku

  1. Wash the rice dry it. Fry the urad dal, add salt, asafoetida and grind ina mixie to make the flour.
  2. Later, add 4 tsp of ghee, sesame seed, water and make a dough.
  3. Use the murukku maker and deep fry in hot oil.
