Ingredients to make Rava laddu

  • 2 cups rava
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • few cashews
  • few raisins
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ghee

How to make Rava laddu

  1. Roast rava in a dry pan until brown.
  2. Pulse it in the mixer for sometime along with sugar.
  3. Add ghee in the same tava and roast broken cashews and raisins.
  4. Add pulsed rava mixture to the ghee and hot milk on top of all.
  5. Cool for sometime. When the mixture is warm start making laddu by pressing between thumb and palm.
  6. Rava laddu is ready in just 10 minutes.

My Tip:

Cool the rava before adding to hot ghee. When you are not able to make ladoo's and it feels dry, add more diluted ghee. Try to make laddu while the mixture is warm, first it feels very loose after sometime it becomes hard. You can use fine rava for making it if you don't like a grainy texture.
