Ingredients to make Malai Gatte

  • FOR GATTE
  • 1and 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 2table spoon fresh cream ( malai )
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 table spoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 table spoon red chilly powder
  • Water as per need
  • For gravey :
  • 2 big onion paste
  • 2big tomatoes puree
  • 1/2 table spoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 table spoon cumin
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 table spoon red chilly powder
  • 1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 table spoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 table spoon garam masala
  • 2to 3 table spoon oil
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • 2table spoon cream

How to make Malai Gatte

  1. Take a bowl add gram flour salt redchilly powder turmeric powder malai and rub with hands add little water and make a soft dough
  2. Take a pan add water and start heat
  3. Make small balls with dough and roll with hands and make log
  4. Put the log into water and let them cook for 15 minutes
  5. Meanwhile we prepare gravy
  6. Take a pan add oil and heat it
  7. Add cumin when cumin start crakling add onion paste and cook add garlic paste and coon
  8. Add tomatoes puree and cook till it leaves the oil add all spieces and mix well
  9. Add remain water of gatte and make gravy
  10. Make piece from log with knife and put into greavy and cook when greavy is thick garnish with coriander leaves and serve with chapati
