Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Four cups of thin, big variety poha
  2. Groundnuts-3/4cup
  3. Jeera-2tsp
  4. Powdered sugar-2tsp
  5. White sesame seeds-1tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Slit green chilies-5/6
  8. Curry leaves-2sprigs
  9. Dry red chilies-3nos
  10. Cashewnuts-2tbsp
  11. Fried gram-1/2cup
  12. Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
  13. Thin dry coconut pieces-1/2cup
  14. Hing-1/4tsp
  15. oil-2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a big deep pan with two tsp of oil. Add the poha and fry for 3-4 mins. It should be warm to touch. Remove onto a wide plate. Remember not to fry longer as the poha shrinks in size and becomes hard.
  2. Take rest of the oil in the same pan and heat. Add jeera, hing, green chilies,groundnuts, cashewnut, curry leaves, sesame seeds, and fry till they turn golden brown.
  3. Add friedgram and coconut pieces.fry for few minutes.add salt and sugar. Switch off the heat source.
  4. Finally add poha and mix nicely and serve.
