ABOUT Bombai chutney RECIPE

It is suitable for idli, dosa.... It's named as bombai chutney but it's a recipe from Andhra... It's very easy and tasty chutney..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 2 tbsp
  2. Tomato 1 medium
  3. Salt 1tsp
  4. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  5. Mustard seeds 1tsp
  6. Chana dal 1tsp
  7. Urad dal 1 tsp
  8. Oil 1 tsp
  9. curry leaves 6
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Green chilli 1

Instructions

  1. First take a bowl. Mix the besan with water. And keep aside
  2. Take a kadai and pour oil. Add Mustard seeds, chanadal, Uraddal. Add green chilli which is cut in very little pieces
  3. Add then add finely chopped tomato.. And then add salt and Turmeric powder.
  4. Place the lid on that and cook it until tomato becomes soft.
  5. And then add small glass of water. Curry leaves, and coriander leaves.
  6. After Two minutes pour the mixture of besan.
  7. Cook for only few minutes until it thickens...
  8. Serve the chutney with hot idli or dosa...
