With all the festive food, this was a good way to sneak in some veggies to my 3 year old son.

Ingredients to make Edible Diwali Kandeel

  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber

How to make Edible Diwali Kandeel

  1. Wash the vegetables thoroughly.
  2. Cut 1/4 of the carrot and cucumber respectively.
  3. Further chop the carrot and cucumber into thin long strips like matchsticks.
  4. Chop 1 strip into 4 parts for the corners, place the cucumber strips to make a diamond.
  5. Place the 4 smaller pieces on the 4 corners. Fill in the diamond with cucumbers. Make the tail with cucumber strips.
  6. Serve instantly to enjoy.
