Garden of Five Senses

Ingredients to make Garden of Five Senses

  • a. Handful of salad leaves:
  • Roughly torn Chinese Cabbage, Purple cabbage, lettuce, rocket leaves, basil, parsley
  • b. 5-6 Cherry tomatoes
  • c. 1 each thinly sliced:
  • Zucchini rings, raw Mango, carrots
  • d. 4-5 mushroom sliced
  • e. 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • f. 2 garlic pods chopped
  • g. 250 gms of chicken breast
  • h. 1/2 cup crushed Oats
  • I. Salt, pepper and oregano
  • j. Chipotle Sauce for coating chicken breast
  • k. 1 tsp Flaxseed
  • a. 1 large Mango cut in cubes
  • b. 2 medium size Lemon juice
  • c. 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • d. 2 tbsp honey
  • e. 1 tsp cumin
  • f. 3 clove garlic
  • g. 1/2teaspoon salt
  • a. 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • b. 2 tbsp deeseded chili pepper (green big chillies)
  • c. 5 to 6 jalapeño chopped
  • d. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander and mint each
  • e. 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • f. 1 sachet dominoes chilli flakes
  • g. Sprinkle of oregano, parsley, basil dried

How to make Garden of Five Senses

  2. I have taken Chinese cabbage roughly torn, lettuce leaves, purple cabbage, basil leaves, rocket leaves. Toss them in a big bowl.
  3. Added sliced carrot, zucchini, raw Mango slices or karrie, cherry tomatoes,
  4. Saute sliced Mushrooms in 1-2 drops oil. Once moisture is almost dried, add in balsamic vinegar. Cool and add to the salad bowl.
  5. Take chicken breast, sprinkle slat, pepper. Apply any sauce of your choice. I had used Chipotle. Dust these coated breast in crushed Oats. Airfried, bake or pan fry till they are done and crusty. Slice and add to salad bowl.
  6. Sprinkle flax seeds, parsley.
  7. Keep aside and prepare the Dressing.
  8. For Sweet and Spicy Mango Salad Dressing
  9. Combine mango, lime juice, orange juice, honey, cumin, garlic and salt in a blender container.
  10. Puree Blending ingredients on medium speed until smooth. Transfer to a medium size jar.
  11. Add mixing ingredients to the pureed mix. Add oil to the mixture in the jar in a slow, steady stream while stirring continuously with a fork or small whisk.
  12. Add finely chopped chili pepper, jalapeño, coriander, mint, herbs, flax seeds, chilli flakes and black pepper.
  13. It's ready to drizzle. Add dressing to the salad bowl, when you are ready to eat.
My Tip: You can also store dressing in refrigerator for up to 1 week, just Shake well before using.
