A delicious restaurant style chicken starter to make for any occasion.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For Marination :
  2. Boneless chicken - 500 gm
  3. Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
  4. Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  5. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  6. Egg - 1
  7. Cornflour - 3 tbsp
  8. Salt
  9. For the tempering :
  10. Onion paste - 2 tbsp
  11. Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
  12. Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  13. Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
  14. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  15. Red chilly sauce - 2 tsp
  16. Green chilly sauce - 1 tsp
  17. Sugar - 1 tsp
  18. Salt
  19. Ajinamoto (optinal) - 1/2 tsp
  20. Coriander leaves (chopped) - handful
  21. Ginger juliennes (few strands) for garnishing
  22. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Whisk the egg with cornflour, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, salt.
  2. Add the chicken pieces into it and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat ample amount of oil in a kadhai and deep fry the marinated chicken. Strain them and keep aside.
  4. Now in another pan, heat some oil and add the ginger paste, followed by the garlic paste.
  5. Then add the onion paste and saute till golden brown.
  6. Now add rest of the things mentioned in the ingredients.
  7. Stir and add little water and cook till masala is done.
  8. Add the cooked chicken pieces and coat them well.
  9. Add the chopped coriander leaves and ginger julienne, serve.
