ABOUT corn ice cream RECIPE

An ice cream with a difference !! Make this yummy ice cream which also has the goodness of corns.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk-1cup
  2. corn-1cup
  3. Sugar-3/4cup
  4. fresh cream-1/2cup
  5. custard powder-1tbls

Instructions

  1. Grind corn and make smooth paste. sieve it so that all the husk is separated.
  2. Heat milk in a pan. add corn paste in it and cook on slow fire. When the milk is reduced to 1/3 rd its quantity, add sugar and custard powder [dissolved in some cold milk].
  3. mix well so there are no lumps. keep aside. cool it
  4. Whip the fresh cream and mix in corn custard paste. pour it in freezer box and freeze it till done. chunk in between twice.by doing this ice-cream is soft.
  5. Serve it with caramelized corn
