Ingredients to make Toast sweetner

  • 8-10 pieces of large toast
  • 100 grm dates
  • 4 cup of milk
  • 2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup desi ghee
  • 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits(almond cashew pistachio raisins )
  • 1/4 cup maava (khoya)
  • 3 tsp of saffron syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder

How to make Toast sweetner

  1. Shallow fry the toast in ghee and keep aside.
  2. To make dates syrup, in a pan add dates and milk. Bring to boil, stir on medium heat till it becomes a thick consistency. Let it cool then strain it.
  3. For sugar syrup, add water and sugar and make chashney with 2 string consistency
  4. When both syrup is ready arrange toast pieces in a dish and pour the sugar and dates syrup on it.
  5. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits, dry maava,saffron syrup and finally cardamom powder over it. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours for and serve.
