Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8-10 pieces of large toast
  2. 100 grm dates
  3. 4 cup of milk
  4. 2 cup of sugar
  5. 1 cup desi ghee
  6. 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits(almond cashew pistachio raisins )
  7. 1/4 cup maava (khoya)
  8. 3 tsp of saffron syrup
  9. 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Shallow fry the toast in ghee and keep aside.
  2. To make dates syrup, in a pan add dates and milk. Bring to boil, stir on medium heat till it becomes a thick consistency. Let it cool then strain it.
  3. For sugar syrup, add water and sugar and make chashney with 2 string consistency
  4. When both syrup is ready arrange toast pieces in a dish and pour the sugar and dates syrup on it.
  5. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits, dry maava,saffron syrup and finally cardamom powder over it. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours for and serve.
