Healthy dal kachori

Ingredients to make Healthy dal kachori

  • Whole wheat Flour 3 cups
  • Besan 1 and 1/2 cups
  • Suji 2 tbspns
  • Oil for dough/ frying
  • Salt to taste
  • For stuffing:
  • urad dal 1 cup
  • Moong dal 1 cup
  • Green chillies 2
  • Hing a pinch
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Saunf 2 tspns
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tspn

How to make Healthy dal kachori

  1. Take wheat flour, besan, suji and pinch of salt to knead a dough.
  2. Soak urad and moong dal overnight.
  3. Take a mixer , put dals, hing, saunf, salt, green chilly , red chilli powder and ginger. Make a course paste.
  4. Now take a wok, pour some oil. When oil is heated add dal paste and roast it until it turns golden brown.
  5. When dal filling becomes cool, then make balls of dough. Fill it with dal and make flat circle with rolling pin.
  6. Deep fry the kachoris.
  7. Serve hot with aloo ki sabji.
