Seekh Kabab

Ingredients to make Seekh Kabab

  • 500gm mutton
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 3 green cardamoms
  • 6 cloves
  • 1/2tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • few coriander leaves
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 1tbsp ghee
  • 1 beaten egg

How to make Seekh Kabab

  1. 1. Wash and mince the meat thoroughly. Grind together all the spices together in a grinder. Blend the onions and green chillies together.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, add minced meat, salt and the ground spices And onion-chilli paste. Bind this mixture with a beaten egg.
  3. 3. Divide this mixture into even sized balls. Now grease the skewers with butter or ghee.
  4. 4. Pierce the meat balls on a skewer and turn over a fire or under grill for 10mins, cooking both the sides.
  5. 5. Serve it hot, Garnished with preferred seasoning and lime juice.
My Tip: Grind the meat at least twice over so you get a smoother kebab
