Carrot-Coconut Ladoos

Ingredients to make Carrot-Coconut Ladoos

  • 1 Cup- shredded carrots
  • 1 Cup- desscated coconut
  • 1/4 Cup- of slivered almonds
  • 1/4 Cup- of raisins
  • 1/2 tin- Condensed Milk(400g tin)
  • 4 tsp- ghee

How to make Carrot-Coconut Ladoos

  1. In a Non-stick pan, add ghee, add slivered almonds and raisins and saute for 2 minutes or until the raisins puff up.
  2. Add shredded carrots and saute for around 8-10 minutes until the carrots wilt and changes color to a pale orange.
  3. Now add desiccated coconut and saute for 2 minutes or until a nice aroma emanates.
  4. Next add condensed milk and mix well. The mixture will immediately come together as a ball.
  5. Keep stirring for another 1 or 2 minutes until the mixture turns a bit dry.
  6. Take it off the stove. Let it become warm enough to touch. Make lemon-size balls out of it. Store it in an air-tight container in the fridge.
