Perfect Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients to make Perfect Sabudana Khichdi

  • sabudana 1cup
  • potatoes chopped 1 medium size
  • tomato chopped 1 medium size
  • coriander leaves 1/4cup
  • peanut 1/2 cup
  • Green chillie 2 chopped
  • peanut oil 1tsp
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Vrat salt to taste

How to make Perfect Sabudana Khichdi

  1. Wash sabudana and soak it for 5 hour.. 1 and half cup water required
  2. Take more then half peanuts roast and make a powder in mixer grinder...
  3. Mix peanut powder in to soaked sabudana...add salt in sabudana mix well
  4. Heat oil add cumin seeds then green add potatoes
  5. Cook until color change add peanuts cook it now add tomatoes
  6. Mix well Cook for some time add salt
  7. Now put sabudana and mix well
  8. Spread 1tsp water over sabudana and cover the lid
  9. Cook for 2 minutes in low flame
  10. Now stir it add coriander leaves cover lid cook for another 2 minute
  11. Sabudana khichdi is ready to serve

My Tip:

Sabudana must be Soaked well..for 5 hours minimum.
