Ingredients to make Khata mitha pumpkin

  • Cube pumpkins 1 cup
  • Raisins 1/4cup
  • Sugar 1/2cup
  • Salt as your taste
  • curry leaves
  • Tamarinds plumps 1tspn
  • Mustard seeds1/4tspn
  • Oil 1tspn
  • Fennel 15 to 2o seeds
  • Rosted cumin powder1/4tspn

How to make Khata mitha pumpkin

  1. Remove the skin of the pumpkin and cut it in small pieces.
  2. Remove the skin and seeds of the pumpkin and cut it in small pieces.
  3. In a pan add oil.when it become hot add curry leaves , hing and mustard seeds.stire .
  4. Put the pumpkins and rasins in this oil .Add salt .tamarinds plumps here. Leave it to boil and cover the pan.
  5. When pumpkins pieces become soft add sugar .
  6. When water reduce it will get slightly sticky.Add fennel and rosted cumin powder. Leave it for a while .
  7. Serve it hot or cold.
