Ingredients to make Lime Rice- Elumichai Sadham

  • 3 large lemons
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 large green chilli
  • curry leaves
  • 1 cup cashew and peanut mixed
  • 2 spoon channa dal
  • Hing
  • Mustard seed 2 spoons
  • Turmeric Powder
  • 2 cups rice

How to make Lime Rice- Elumichai Sadham

  1. Cook the rice in 4 cups water
  2. sauté the cashews and peanuts in a pan and set this aside
  3. Heat pan and add 3 spoons oil when hot do tadka of channa dal and mustard seeds and add chillies for minute sauté this and turn off stove
  4. Take a cup And squeeze lime juice from lemons , add salt and hing
  5. Pout the nuts , tadka into lime mix,made the chopped curry leaves and serve
