Instant microwave Khandvi

Ingredients to make Instant microwave Khandvi

  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • curd 3/4 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • Finely Chopped ginger 1/4 teaspoon
  • Finely chopped green chillies 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander 2 tablespoon
  • Grated cottage cheese 40gm
  • salt as per taste
  • White pepper as per taste
  • mustard seed 1 teaspoon
  • oil 1 tablespoon

How to make Instant microwave Khandvi

  1. In microwave safe bowl put gram flour, curd and water and mix it properly so that there are no lumps in it
  2. Put this bowl in microwave for 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, take it out and add chopped ginger, chopped green chilli and salt in it and mix it properly
  4. Again, put it in microwave for 2 minutes
  5. Meanwhile temper mustard seeds in hot oil.
  6. After 2 minutes ,take the bowl out of microwave and stir it vigorously.
  7. Keep it in microwave again for two minutes. This is final cooking of gram flour.
  8. After 2 minutes take out the bowl and immediately spread the mixture on plastic sheet so that it forms a thin layer.
  9. Horizontally cut this layer from centre then make vertical cuts.
  10. Put the mixture of cottage cheese mixed with salt and pepper over the layer. Put some Chopped coriander and tempered mustard over it.
  11. Roll the layers and garnish it with chopped coriander and tempered mustard seeds
