ABOUT Chiken liver masala RECIPE

The chicken livers are often discarded but these are actually a very good source of iron and protein. Follow this easy recipe to make a delicious curry with chicken liver.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. chicken liver - 200 gm
  2. onion [chopped] - 2
  3. ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  4. turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  5. red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  6. garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. chicken masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. salt
  9. mustard oil
  10. Tomatoes [chopped] - 2
  11. Coriander leaves [handful]

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken liver and keep aside. Heat some oil in a pan.
  2. Add the chopped onion, saute till golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
  4. Then add the powdered masalas and give it a stir. Then add the chicken liver along with some salt.
  5. Cook with a lid on, then once the liver is half cooked, then add chopped tomatoes. cook further till they are done. Check for salt and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
