Tawa burgers

Ingredients to make Tawa burgers

  • 8 burger buns
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • paneer/cottage cheese 1 cup,crumbled
  • finely chopped onion 1/2 tbsp
  • finely chopped bell peppers 1 cup
  • grated carrots one tbsp
  • chopped corriander leaves
  • Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • Aamchur powder 1 tsp
  • 1 cup raw onion
  • tomato slices [as per requirement]

How to make Tawa burgers

  1. in a pan add butter
  2. add chopped onion
  3. add garlic paste
  4. add ginger paste
  5. saute for a minute
  6. add red chili powder
  7. add turmeric powder
  8. add aamchur powder
  9. suate for two minutes
  10. add chopped tomatoes
  11. add bell peppers
  12. cook for 3-4 minutes
  13. add salt
  14. Cook till the masala gets cooked and becomes dry enough.
  15. add crumbled paneer/cottage cheese .
  16. add corriander leaves
  17. Assembly :
  18. take burger bun
  19. cut with sharpen knife from middle
  20. place the stuffing
  21. roll the sides with chopped onion tomato
  22. apply butter on both the sides
  23. Shallow fry the entire burger like we fry pav fpr pav bhaji, serve with some tomato ketchup and some french fries.
