Healthy Chicken Manchurian

Ingredients to make Healthy Chicken Manchurian

  • Chicken 500 gms
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic pods 8 finely grated
  • Ginger 2 inches finely grated
  • Onion 1 chopped finely
  • Green chilli chopped finely 2-3
  • black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

How to make Healthy Chicken Manchurian

  1. Mix corn flour with 5-6 tbsp water
  2. Heat a nonstick pan with some oil.
  3. When hot enough add onion, garlic and ginger
  4. Saute for 2-3 mins
  5. Add green chilli
  6. Saute for few minutes more.
  7. Add chicken pieces , salt , turmeric powder and chilli powder . cover and cook for 20 -30 mins or until chicken pieces are cooked well
  8. Now add soy sauce , tomato sauce
  9. Mix well , add ajinamoto , black pepper powder
  10. Stir and mix vinegar , corn flour mixture
  11. Add little water as well [1/2 cup]
  12. Cook for few minutes more.
  13. Stir in between
  14. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  15. Serve hot with fried rice
