Ingredients to make Yellow coloured Paneer Pulav

  • 2 cups Long grain rice
  • 1 cup paneer pieces
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 cup onions
  • 2 pieces Bayleaf
  • 2,3 star anise
  • 2,3 whole pepper
  • 2,3 whole cloves
  • 2,3 whole cardamom
  • water as needed
  • coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp biryani masala
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp saffron milk
  • salt to taste
  • For Marination
  • 1 cup paneer pieces
  • curd 1 cup
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chilli Powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp biryani masala
  • 1 tbsp onion cut into big pieces
  • 1 tbsp capsicum cut into big pieces

How to make Yellow coloured Paneer Pulav

  1. For marination :
  2. In a big bowl mix Curd, turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,chilli powder,salt to taste,biryani Masala. Add Paneer pieces ,onion n capsicum pieces to this mixture
  3. Keep aside for an hour
  4. In a cooker add oil .Saute opinions till golden brown.Transfer the onions in a plate.
  5. Add bay leaf,star anise,pepper ,cloves,Cardamom in the oil and Saute.
  6. Add marinated Paneer soaked rice
  7. Create a gap and add water.
  8. Sprinkle Coriander leaves,fried onions,biryani Masala,mint leaves,saffron milk and salt to taste.
  9. Close the cooker lid till 3 whistles
  10. Off the gas.
  11. Open the lid
  12. Serve Piping hot Paneer Pulav with Raita and salad
