Ingredients to make suji, oats and soya nuggets & vegetable cheela/ pancake

  • Suji [semolina] 1 cup
  • Oats 1 cup
  • soya nuggets 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • chopped green chili 2 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
  • curd 1/1/2 cup
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • grated carrots 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Oil for shallow frying

How to make suji, oats and soya nuggets & vegetable cheela/ pancake

  1. boil the nuggets in water for 5 minutes, squeeze the excess water and blend into the fine paste.
  2. in a mixing boil add suji, oats, nuggets paste, curd, salt, green chili, coriander, lemon juice and 1 tsp oil make a smooth batter by adding the water, rest it for 1/2 hour.
  3. Heat the non-stick pan Now pour a ladle full of batter onto the pan and lightly use the ladle to spread the batter into a circular shape from the center outwards. Make a circle cook a minute.
  4. Drizzle with a little oil and lift the edges of the Cheela to allow oil to go under it. Flip now and cook till the other side is golden too. Serve hot with Salad, and curd.

My Tip:

we can also add some green vegetable like spinach, grated cabbage.
