Melt in mouth Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients to make Melt in mouth Mushroom Pasta

  • Uncooked pasta – 1 cup
  • Button mushrooms – 6-8
  • Grounded Pepper – 1 tsp (as per taste)
  • Salt according to taste
  • Butter – 1/2 tsp
  • For white sauce:
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour/Maida – 2 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 ½ cup

How to make Melt in mouth Mushroom Pasta

  1. Cook paste until al-dente. Slowly rinse under water and drain well.
  2. Thoroughly wash and chop mushrooms. Make white sauce, by adding butter to sauce pan and when it melts add flour. Saute on low flame.
  3. Gently whisk by adding milk to avoid lumps. Boil till mixture thickens. In another pan, saute chopped mushrooms for 2 minutes.
  4. Tip in cooked pasta and toss gently. Add in white sauce and toss to get pasta nicely coated with sauce.
  5. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper. Serve warm.
