ABOUT MANGO BAR RECIPE

Delicious cool summer treat. Kids all time favourite mango Popsicles with nutrition of milk and taste of mango. Uniqueness lies in chocolate added to mango crust which helps to makes it firm and more tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Amul Fresh cream 250 ml
  2. Castor sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Vanilla essence 1 tesp
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Mango 2
  6. white chocolate chips 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Keep amul cream tetra pack stand straight untouched for an hour in refrigerator.
  2. Cut out the top of tetra pack. The milk would have been settled down at the bottom of pack and thick cream on top.
  3. Carefully separate thick cream from the milk at bottom.
  4. Put the cream to chill in refrigerator. (Keep milk to use in any cream based curry).
  5. Now take a bowl. Fill it with ice cubes.
  6. Put chilled cream bowl over ice filled bowl.
  7. Add powdered sugar to cream and whisk well till cream gets double in volume.
  8. The cream will get fluffy and lighter forming soft peaks. It takes around 10 minutes with electric beater.
  9. Add vanilla essence and whisk again.
  10. Now add half cup milk to whipped cream. Mix gently. Don't whisk.
  11. Pour the prepared cream in ice cream moulds.
  12. Seal well and freeze for six to eight hours.
  13. Peel mangoes and collect their flesh. Churn it in blender and make fine puree.
  14. Microwave mango puree for half minute.
  15. In another bowl microwave white chocolate chips for half minute and mix well to a smooth paste.
  16. Add melted chocolate to warm mango puree and mix well.
  17. Let it to chill.
  18. Take out well set ice-cream Popsicles. These should be firm.
  19. Dip each Popsicle in chilled mango puree and place on a plastic sheet.
  20. Place on a plastic sheet in a tray.
  21. Put mango coated Popsicles in freezer for an hour.
  22. After an hour remove from freezer and dip again in mango puree for nice thick coating.
  23. Freeze again for 3-4 hours till bars are set and firm.
