Ingredients to make Bobbatlu

  • Maida 250 gms
  • Chana dal. 250 gms
  • jagerry. 250 gms
  • Salt. 1/4 teaspoon
  • ghee. 50 gms

How to make Bobbatlu

  1. first take chana dal in a pressure cooker and cook it well
  2. take cooked dal in a pan and smash it
  3. now switch on the flame , and place the pan on it and add jaggery to dal, keep on stirring it until the mixture tighten or thickens and is ready to make balls . slightly cool it and make roundels out of the mixture, keep aside.
  4. take Maida in a mixing bowl and add some salt... now add some water and knead a soft dough.
  5. now take some dough and press it in to a small Puri, put some dal mixture in the Puri and close the edges, make it in to a ball
  6. now press that ball , so that it becomes flat like Puri or parathas.
  7. Shallow fry these flat stuffed parathas with some ghee.
  8. Serve them hot.
