Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 Cup Soaked and cooked basmati rice
  2. 2-3 big Onion cut ( fried in oil)
  3. 1 cup curd
  4. 1 ts ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 Cup mixed vegetables(potato,cauliflower,beans,carrot,peas)
  6. 4-5 Ts Biriyani powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Saffron soked in Milk
  9. Mint and coriander leaves
  10. 1 bay leaf
  11. 3-4 cardmom
  12. 2-3 cloves
  13. 1 Cinnamon stick
  14. 2-3 ts Oil
  15. 4-5 Ts Ghee

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add all mixed vegetables ,curd,ginger garlic paste and salt and marinate it for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Take a cooker add little oil and ghee then add bay leaf, cardamom,cloves ,cinnamon and fry them.
  3. Add finely chopped few onions and saute them.Now add marinated vegetables and fry it well till oil leaves by side.
  4. In separate kadai deep fry long cut onions and keep it aside.
  5. Now add mint and coriander leave to the veg mixture and turn off the flame.
  6. In a separate vessel cook a cup of basmati rice upto 75 % done and strain water and keep aside.
  7. Now Take a deep kadai add one layer masala mixture and one layer rice and add little ghee from top and salt and saffron and cook it in low flame by keeping kadai on a dosa pan.
