Ingredients to make Frutty dokla

  • 200 g. Gram flour
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 pinch turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 pouch fruit salt
  • Water to make a thick paste for dokla
  • Fruirs as your choice..kiwi,papaya,watermelon
  • you can add ginger ,chilly paste to make it more spicy [although i have nit used it in the recipe]

How to make Frutty dokla

  1. First of all , make a thick batter for dhokla by using gram flour, salt, curd, sugar and water.
  2. Rest it for sometime.
  3. Preheat the microwave oven.
  4. Grease the dhokla pot. ormicrowave safe bowl
  5. Mix the fruit salt in the batter and pour the batter into the microwave safe bowl.
  6. Bake it in convection mode ,it takes around 20 minutes..
  7. Cut dhokla in half inch thick sheets or into any shape of your choice
  8. I cut it in heart shape with cookies cutter..
  9. Cut fruits also in heart shape Arrange them as shown in the pics
  10. Kids are going to love this.
