ABOUT Pineapple kalakand RECIPE

A delicious indian dessert with a twist of pineapple.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 250 gram grated fresh pineapple
  2. Sugar [1/2 tbsp]
  3. 2 teaspoon Ghee
  4. 500 gram milk
  5. 100 gram mawa
  6. Pistachios and almonds [chopped, handful]

Instructions

  1. Heat some milk in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer it on a low flame.
  3. When it became little thick ,add the grated pineapple
  4. Cook it for 5-7 minutes, add the mawa and sugar.
  5. Cook for few more minutes and switch off the gas.
  6. Grease a plate.
  7. Put this thick mixture in plate and spread it evenly in 1 inch thick layer
  8. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on the kalakand and press them lightly.
  9. Let this mixture set and then cut into desired shapes.
