Ingredients to make Suji rice cutlet

  • Suji [semolina] 1 bowl [around 100 gms]
  • Rice flour 100 gram
  • Curd 100 gram
  • 1 Lemon
  • Salt 3/4 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water 2 cup
  • 2 green chilly [finely chopped]
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Oil for shallow frying the cutlets

How to make Suji rice cutlet

  1. Mix the curd, water, lemon juice, salt and mix well. Whisk with a hand blender for a minute.
  2. Now heat a pan on low flame.
  3. Add the semolina and rice flour into the pan and dry roast for few minutes.
  4. Now slowly add the curd mixture into the pan while stirring it .
  5. Mix it well making sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
  6. Stir the mixture continuously till the mixture becomes like a dough.
  7. Now switch off the flame and let the mixture cool down.
  8. Make small cutlets out of the dough.
  9. Heat some oil in a griddle pan and shallow fry the cutlets in them.
  10. Serve these with some spicy chutney or salsa.
