Ingredients to make Matla kulfi

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Mawa 1 /2 cup
  • Sugar 2 to 3 cups
  • dryfruits
  • Kesar soked in milk
  • Cardamom powder

How to make Matla kulfi

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Once the milk is boiled, add in mawa.
  3. Now we can add in sugar and mix well.
  4. Add in kesar dissolved milk 1 spoon and cardamom powder.
  5. Let the milk boil on slow flame .keep stirring occasionally. Keeping in mind, milk should not stick to bottom of the pan.
  6. Slowly milk will start getting thick. Now you can turn off the gas and cool it.
  7. Pour it in your containers and freeze it for about 5 to 6 hrs.

My Tip:

You can add in cornflour and milk to speed the process..but to get original taste, its better to stick to long process.
