Ingredients to make Apple Jalebi

  • Apple 1
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Maida 2/3 cup
  • A pinch of yellow color
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon besan
  • Rabri (optional)
  • Any dry fruit to garnish with

How to make Apple Jalebi

  1. Start by cooking 1/2 cup of water with 1 cup sugar and make a thick sugar syrup. Keep it aside.
  2. Peel the apple and scoop the inner part in and cut round pieces out of it. Microwave this for 30 seconds. Let this mixture dry for 30 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix in maida and besan along with a little water and whisk it for 5 minutes. Keep it aside for 30 minutes then add in baking soda and mix well.
  4. Coat the apple pieces in maida batter and fry on a low flame till they are cooked.
  5. Then immediately put the apple jalebis into the sugar syrup for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve it hot with rabri on top.
