Ingredients to make Kadhi bari

  • Gram floor /besan 2cups
  • Sour curd1 cups
  • Turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder2tsp
  • Sakt to taste
  • Baking powder 1/2tsp
  • For Tadka
  • Panch phoran 1tsp
  • Garlic choppped 1tsp
  • Cumin 1tsp
  • Whole red chilly 2
  • Heeng 1tsp
  • Oil 2table spoon for tadka
  • Tel as required to fry bari
  • Water 3.5cups

How to make Kadhi bari

  1. Take a bowl add 1.5cup besan in it add half red chilly powder half turmeric powder and baking powder in it add half cup of water and make a smooth batter whisk properly to abode lumps .keep aside for 5mintutes .for perfect thickness .
  2. Heat oil in a wok .drop small Bari /balls with hands fry then in high heat take out when buddies become golden .similarly fry whole batter in different batches .
  3. Drain out on a kitchen towel .the buries for the kadhi is ready .
  4. Now take a big bowl add besan and curdin it whisk well add turmeric red chilli powder add 3cups of water to make a watery solution.add salt in it .
  5. Now take a wok add oil in it ..add tadka panchphoran ,cumin,chilly crackle it now switch off gas.and add curd besan watery solution .in it .
  6. Now switch on the flame .boil the kadhi for 10min.on high keep stirring .it .
  7. Now put kadhi on low flame for 15min.
  8. Now add barri in the kadhi ..boil for 5minutes .
  9. Now your Bari kadhi s ready to serve with steamed rice or roti .
