About Gaund ke Laddu Recipe

A delicious Indian sweet great for winters and lactating mothers.

Gaund ke Laddu

Ingredients to make Gaund ke Laddu

  • sugar 350 gms
  • Whole wheat flour350 gms
  • Gaund (edible gum)125 gms
  • 150 gms almonds
  • 1/4 cup green pistachios
  • ghee 500 gms

How to make Gaund ke Laddu

  1. Roast flour in ghee
  2. Fry the almonds separately
  3. Boiling pistachios separately
  4. Peel and crush the pistachios
  5. Add Gaund to the cooked wheat flour and let it swell up.
  6. Cool it till warm.
  7. Add almonds and sugar.
  8. Form laddus.
  9. Stick on the crushed pistachios.

My Tip:

Slow cook the flour to get a nice colour and a lovely taste and texture
