Semolina Coated Spicy Fish Fry

Ingredients to make Semolina Coated Spicy Fish Fry

  • 1/2 kg king  mackerel
  • 10-15 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup semolina and rice flour
  • salt as per taste
  • oil to fry

How to make Semolina Coated Spicy Fish Fry

  1. Wash and clean fish with little salt and turmeric powder and pat dry.
  2. Grind together garlic, chili powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder, garam masala, and coriander leaves together into thick paste using lemon juice.
  3. Apply this on both sides of fish and let it rest for half an hour.
  4. Mix together rice flour and semolina together and coat the fish in it.
  5. Shallow fry the fish in oil and serve hot.
