Custard Powder Halwa

Ingredients to make Custard Powder Halwa

  • 1/2 cup Vanilla flavoured custard powder
  • 1+1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 15 Cashews (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Sliced nuts

How to make Custard Powder Halwa

  1. Take the custard powder, sugar and water. Mix well without any lumps. Transfer this mixture to a heavy bottomed pan, cook on simmer until the mixture gets slightly thicken.
  2. Add the chopped cashews and ghee, cook on simmer until the mixture turns thick. Once the halwa gets off from the vessel, transfer it to a greased plate or a baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle the sliced nuts over the mixture. Slice as you desire, once the halwa gets cool. Enjoy.
