Ingredients to make Tomato thoku / pickle
- Tomato 1kg to 1 1/2 kg. Try to buy rich red in color.
- Oil 1/4 cup ginger oil
- Mustard seeds 1 tbs
- Salt as per the taste.
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tbs.
- Kashmiri red Chilli powder 2 tbs.
- Hing 1/2 tbs.
- Dry powder:
- Coriander seeds 1 tbs
- Red Chilli 4 to 5
- Seasame seeds 1 tbs (white)
- Dry roast All the things given above and grind it coarsely.
- Add tomatoes into blender and puree and keep aside.
