Ragi Ribbon Pakoda/Fingermillet Ribbon Pakoda

Ingredients to make Ragi Ribbon Pakoda/Fingermillet Ribbon Pakoda

  • 2 cup Ragi flour/finger millet flour (roasted)
  • 1 cup Gramflour
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep frying

How to make Ragi Ribbon Pakoda/Fingermillet Ribbon Pakoda

  1. Take the ragi flour,gram flour, rice flour, asafoetida powder,salt , sesame seeds,butter in a large bowl, gradually add the water and knead as a soft and stiff dough.
  2. Heat the oil for deep frying. Meanwhile take the murukku press with the ribbon nozzle, put a ball of this dough and press directly to the hot oil.
  3. Fry the ribbon pakoda on both sides until they gets well cooked. Drain the excess of oil with a paper towel and arrange in a an air tightened box.
