ABOUT red sauce pasta sandwiches RECIPE

we always eat pasta as it is or with garlic bread or bruschetta,this time I made pasta grilled sandwiches,believe me they were yummy

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. boiled pasta 2 cups
  2. for red gravy-------
  3. blanched tomato puree 2 cups
  4. bell peppers 1/2 cup
  5. Butter 2tbsp
  6. onion 1 medium
  7. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  8. Sugar 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oregano 1 tsp
  11. Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  12. process for white sauce
  13. 1 tsp butter
  14. 1 tsp all purpose flour
  15. Salt
  16. sugar (optional)1-2 tsp
  17. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  18. Milk one cup
  19. for sandwich---8 slice bread
  20. Grated cheese
  21. 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. in a deep pan add butter
  2. add onion
  3. add bell peppers
  4. saute them
  5. remove them in plate or bowl
  6. now add 1 tsp of butter more in same pan
  7. add red chili to butter
  8. add tomato puree
  9. let it thicken little
  10. now add sugar and salt
  11. it should be thick like spreading consistency
  12. keep it aside
  13. process for white sauce---
  14. in a pan add butter
  15. add all purpose flour
  16. saute till it turns golden
  17. add milk
  18. keep on stirring constantly
  19. add salt
  20. add black pepper powder
  21. add sugar
  22. we want lumps free sauce
  23. if lumps form seive it
  24. add white suace to red sauce
  25. mix it till both the sauces are incorporated
  26. with each other
  27. now add sauted veggies
  28. add pasta and mix till everything is merged
  29. let it cool down completely
  30. process to make sandwiches-----
  31. take bread slices spread butter
  32. spread pasta
  33. sprinkle some grated cheese
  34. cover with other slice
  35. toast them in oven or grill them
  36. cut them in triangle shape
  37. serve with ketchup
