DAL BUKHARA

Ingredients to make DAL BUKHARA

  • Black lentils -500grams
  • Garlic paste -50grams
  • Tomatao puree - 500grams
  • Kashmiri red chilli -20grams
  • Desi ghee -100grams
  • Unsalted butter -500 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cream- 200gram

How to make DAL BUKHARA

  1. *Wash the black lentils 7-8 time properly and kept soaked in water for 2 -3 hours * boil the lentil on pressure cooker for 3 whistle at low flame ,should not be mashed
  2. Take a container on fire Range add ghee to it folders by garlic paste cook it for sometime add red chilli powder followed by tomato purée cook it for 5 minute and add black lentils to it
  3. Add salt and butter to it cook it for 15 minute then add 2.5 lt of water yo it
  4. Cook on high flame till reduce to half
  5. Cook rest of dal over a hot plate or tava (put the dal container over a tava and then cook it )this it gets proper consistency and taste
