Strawberry Yogurt Crunch

Ingredients to make Strawberry Yogurt Crunch

  • Strawberries 10
  • sugar 2 tablespoon
  • Digestive biscuits 1 cup
  • Melted butter 2 tablespoon
  • Fine sugar ⅔ cup (powdered)
  • Thick yogurt 1 ½ cup
  • Strawberry preserve 2 tablespoon
  • cardamom powder ¼ teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon (optional)

How to make Strawberry Yogurt Crunch

  1. Chop strawberries. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over them and give a toss. Allow them to rest.
  2. Take digestive biscuits and crush them into fine crumbs.
  3. Put these crumbs in a bowl. Add remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and melted butter. Mix it well.
  4. In another bowl, take hung curd, fine sugar. Mix well.
  5. Put in the preserve. Add cardamom powder, vanilla extract.
  6. Beat all these ingredients well until blended together nicely.
  7. Now place 2 tablespoons of this yoghurt mixture in a glass.
  8. Sprinkle biscuit crumbs over yoghurt to form a fine layer.
  9. Put in few chopped berries.
  10. Add some more yoghurt over berries and then make another layer of crumbs.
  11. Top it with strawberries.
  12. For hung curd:- Place yoghurt in a muslin cloth and drain the excess water to get thick yoghurt (hung curd)
