Ingredients to make Cherry Chocolate Ganache Cake

  • For Chocolate Cake:
  • 1 Tin (400)Gms condensed milk
  • 1 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 200 Gms 2 ( cups) maida
  • 1/2 cups coco powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup milk or as required
  • 2 cups Cherry for filling &garnishing the cake
  • Cherry syrup for soaking the cake
  • For Truffle icing:
  • 220 gms Amul Cream
  • 150 gms Dark Chocolate
  • 150 Gms milk chocolate

How to make Cherry Chocolate Ganache Cake

  1. Sift maida with baking soda, baking powder.keep aside
  2. In another bowl mix sugar and butter till fluffy.
  3. Add milkmaid and mix well
  4. Add milk gradually and little by little maida.
  5. Mix all the ingredients beating well.Add essence
  6. Mix well to the mixture is smooth and it should be of dropping consistency.
  7. Grease and dust a baking tin 12".Pour the batter in the tin
  8. Bake in a preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes at 150 degrees.
  9. Remove from oven and cool the cake. Remove from tin after cooling.
  10. Now cut the cake horizontally into two parts
  11. Sprinkle cherry syrup.
  12. Apply ganache on the cake
  13. Spread cherry cut into halves on the cake
  14. Place another cake piece over it and apply ganache on the whole cake.
  15. Spread cherries in the centre of the cake.
  16. Now keep the cake in fridge for ganache to set
  17. Decorate the sides chocolate ganache rosette using star nozzle.
