Caramel Mochasicles

Ingredients to make Caramel Mochasicles

  • Instant coffee powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar 3-4 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream 1/4 cup
  • water 1/4 cup
  • Full cream milk 1 cup
  • Coco powder 1/2 tablespoon
  • For caramel sauce:
  • sugar 1 cup
  • water 1/4 cup
  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup
  • Instant Coffee powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder 1 tablespoon
  • Unsalted butter 3 tablespoon
  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

How to make Caramel Mochasicles

  1. For the popsicles: Add coffee powder, milk, cream, water, cocoa and sugar in a blender
  2. Blend till smooth and frothy
  3. Pour the mixture into the popsicle moulds, insert the sticks and cover it with an aluminium foil
  4. Freeze for at least 6 hours
  5. For de moulding run hot water over the moulds and carefully take out the popsicles
  6. For caramel sauce: In a medium sized bowl whisk together cream, cocoa and coffee powder with a wired whisk, keep aside
  7. Combine sugar and water in a heavy bottom pan
  8. Cook over medium- high heat until mixture comes to boil
  9. Continue to boil, without stirring for 7-10 minutes, tilting pan occasionally to keep colour even until mixture turns a deep amber
  10. Remove from heat and pour in cream mixture
  11. Add butter and vanilla extract and whisk till everything is combined
  12. Dunk the popsicles in the caramel sauce... Lick
