Jaljeera

Ingredients to make Jaljeera

  • Imly/tamarind 125 gm
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Pudina 1 small bunch
  • Coriander 1 small bunch
  • 1 tbsp jeera powder
  • Lemon 2
  • 7 cup water
  • 1 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 garam masala
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp black salt
  • 2 tsp sugar.
  • Ice cubes few

How to make Jaljeera

  1. Grind ginger pudina and coriander.
  2. Make paste
  3. Soak Imly in water
  4. Remove seeds from it.
  5. Take the liquid and mix all ingredients in it
  6. Mix well
  7. Keep it for 5 minutes
  8. Now strain it through a fine cotton cloth
  9. Mix water and ice in it
  10. Serve chilled
My Tip: You can use roasted jeera in it. Can store in fridge for a week
