Ingredients to make Beetroot Oats Idly

  • Oats. -1 Cup
  • Beetroot - 1\2
  • Carrot - 1\2
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Eno - one lemon flavour
  • Sooji - 1 cup
  • Curd - 1 cup

How to make Beetroot Oats Idly

  1. First of all roast oats without oil. Keep aside for cold and blend in the mix.
  2. Take oil in a pan put beetroot and carrot one minute saute and mix cold roasted oats saute for one minute add salt. Keep aside for cold.
  3. Take a bowl put oats and vegetable mixture and sooji and Curd and some water mix it well keep aside for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes Mix more water if the batter is thick. Keep aside for 10 minutes again.
  5. Then mix Eno in the better. Put batter in greased idly mould. Keep in the microwave for 4 minutes.beetroot oats Idly are ready eat with peanut chutney or coconut chutney.

My Tip:

One more option this idly also fried in some oil.
