Juicy Chicken momos

Ingredients to make Juicy Chicken momos

  • All purpose flour 250gms
  • Boneless chicken 1 cup
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4tsp
  • Grated cabbage, onion, carrot 1cup
  • Mayonnaise 2tbsp
  • Schezwan chutney 1tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Mustard sauce 1 tbsp
  • Mozeralla cheese 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

How to make Juicy Chicken momos

  1. In a bowl, add a pinch of salt to all purpose flour and knead a soft dough.set aside for 10mins
  2. In a pan, pour oil and add chicken pieces with garam masala, salt, turmeric and red chilli powder till cooked
  3. In another bowl, add grated vegetables, mayo, mustard sauce and mix well. Maintain dry consistency
  4. Shred the cooked chicken pieces
  5. Add these chicken shreds to mayo mixture
  6. Set aside for 5mins
  7. Meanwhile, make small balls of flour and flatten them to size of small puris
  8. Spread Schzwan chutney on it and place a half tsp amount of stuffing on it
  9. Pack the puri, starting from one corner and keep pressing towards another corner in overlapping fashion
  10. Transfer them to momo stand and steam till done
  11. Alternatively, you may also use a steam cooker and idli stand
  12. Grease idli stand pans and place momos on them
  13. Steam them like you do the idlis
  14. Do not put whistle to the cooker
  15. Check after 10mins and do the toothpick test to check if they are done
  16. Transfer the momos to serving plate, garnish with grated vegetables
  17. Your chicken momos are ready.Serve them hot with mayonnaise and Sche Zwan chutney
My Tip: Maintain the consistency of stuffing, too loose stuffing may break the momos
