Bihari Chicken

Ingredients to make Bihari Chicken

  • Dahi ( 2 big spoons)
  • Red chilli powder (1 tbsp)
  • Crushed garlic and ginger (accordingly)
  • Turmeric powder (1 tbsp)
  • Salt (2 tbsp)
  • For gravy:
  • Onion finely chopped 4
  • Garam Masala
  • Meat masala
  • Salt
  • For Masala:
  • Jeera (1 tbsp)
  • Black pepper 5-6
  • Laal Mirch 3
  • Green chillies 3
  • Tej Patta 2
  • Cloves 2-3
  • Javitri 1

How to make Bihari Chicken

  1. Wash chicken properly and then add all marination ingredients together in a bowl with chicken pieces. Keep it in the fridge or aside for 20 mins at least.
  2. Now prepare for gravy part. Saute onions over a high flame.
  3. Put masala we made in it and saute again till it starts leaving oil.
  4. Now put marinated chicken in it. And cook it on low flame. Add some salt
  5. Keep on adding little amount of warm water. And cook it on low flame.
  6. When it's almost done add garam masala and meat masala powder in it. Squeeze a lemon in it. Garnish with coriander leaves. Server with parantha
