Rose Coconut Ice Cream

Ingredients to make Rose Coconut Ice Cream

  • Full-fat milk 500ml
  • Sugar 6 table spoon
  • GMS powder 1&1/2 tablespoon
  • CMC powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cornflour 1&1/2 tablespoon
  • Homemade Malai 1cup
  • Rose syrup 7-8 tablespoon or as required
  • Tender coconut cream 1/2 cup
  • White part of fresh coconut 1/2 cup

How to make Rose Coconut Ice Cream

  1. Mix milk and sugar and bring it to boil.
  2. Keep appx 1/2cup of milk aside.
  3. Dissolve GMS powder, CMC powder and corn flour in that milk
  4. Add this mixture to the boiling milk
  5. Stir continuously
  6. Boil until it thickens
  7. Remove it from flame and cool it
  8. Pour into airtight ice cream container and put it in the freezer to set.it takes approx.5-6hrs(this is one of the basic methods of making ice cream)
  9. When it is fully set, take out from the freezer and rest for sometime
  10. Now add homemade malai and beat it well with electric egg beater until it is soft and fluffy(doing this quantity of ice cream increases/
  11. Grind tender coconut malai and white part of fresh coconut (remove brown skin) in mixture grinder with little milk
  12. Add this mixture and rose syrup into ice cream mixture
  13. Mix well and pour into ice cream container
  14. Put it in the freezer to set
  15. Garnish as you like and enjoy
My Tip: You can make any flavoured ice cream that you like.By using GMS powder and CMC powder, very soft, creamy and delightful ice cream can be made. The combination of rose and coconut flavour gives you heavenly taste.
