- 1 cup grated beetroot.
- 1 cup fresh whisked curd.
- Salt to taste.
- 1/2tsp sugar ( optional ).
- For Tempering:
- 2 finely chopped green chillies.
- 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder.
- 1 tsp urad dal.
- 1 tsp chana dal.
- 5 -10 curry leaves.
- 3 tsp roughly crushed peanuts.
- 1/2tsp mustard seeds.
- 1 tbsp grated ginger.
- A pinch of asafoetida.
- Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.
