Mutton Keema Curry

Ingredients to make Mutton Keema Curry

  • 300 grams Keema mutton
  • 700 grams mutton pieces
  • 400 grams onion
  • 500 grams tomatoes
  • 50 grams garlic
  • 8 to 10 cloves
  • 4 black cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 11/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 11/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste

How to make Mutton Keema Curry

  1. Onion, garlic, bay leaves, cloves, tomato, cardamom, cinnamon make a paste of all these ingredients.
  2. In a heavy bottom, pan adds refined oil and cook the above paste until brown.
  3. Add keema and mutton pieces on a low medium flame keep stirring it for 45 minutes, then close the lid of the pan and cook it till done with occasional stirring.
  4. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
My Tip: Use pressure cooker if required. After 45 minutes of cooking put the lid of the pressure cooker wait for 1 whistle.
