Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 tbsp Curd
  2. Coriander Leaves (cut finely)
  3. ½ kilo Mutton
  4. 2 Large Onion
  5. 8 Clove Garlic
  6. 4 Green Chili
  7. 2 Cardamom
  8. 2 Biryani Leaves
  9. 1 small piece Ginger
  10. 2 Tomato
  11. Oil (as needed)
  12. 2 cups Grated coconut
  13. 1 tsp Saunf (Fennel)
  14. 1 tsp Poppy Seeds
  15. 2 Cinnamon
  16. Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Wash the mutton and cut it.
  2. Cut onion and tomato into fine pieces
  3. Make a paste of ginger, garlic, chili and set aside.
  4. Grind coconut, saunf (Fennel) and Poppy seeds
  5. Take a pan and heat oil
  6. Add cinnamon, cardamom and biryani leaf in the hot oil
  7. Once they splutter add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  8. Put tomato, onion and stir-fry it
  9. Put salt, a little water and let it boil.
  10. Add coconut paste, cooked mutton and boil it on a medium flame for 15-20 min.
  11. Add coriander leaves, curd and let it boil on a low flame for another 10 min.
  12. Once the korma gets thicken then remove from the stove.
